First Projects

It's always difficult to get serious things going after putting your toes into the water. Especially with my lack of experience and budget, I wouldn't dream of doing any major projects for strangers. Besides, I have a lot more going on in my life -- I need to go back to school and keep on working. This doesn't mean that I don't have any ambition, though.

In the next two months, I have a couple potential projects going on presented by my coworkers looking for a free/cheap photographer.

The Right Place at the Right Time

I find street photography to be quite challenging. It isn't an issue of being quick or skilled with a camera, but a dilemma of confidence. I find it difficult to cope with the idea that the random person I'm photographing on my lunchtime walk will turn around as I finish snapping my picture, resulting in him/her snapping my neck.

Introductions - Part 1

Who am I?

My name is Chris and, recently, I've invested my meager load of spending money to immerse myself into the fine art of photography. I was growing bored with my time outside of my relationship and work, as that time was spent mercilessly destroying (literally) keyboard after keyboard while surfing the internet, playing video games, and obsessively watching Japanese anime (which happens to be an apparently timeless Asian-American past-time, mind you).
